Kol HaNeshamah Children’s Education Program provides children with a meaningful, substantive, and engaging Jewish education, one that looks toward Judaism’s future even as it draws upon our People’s rich heritage and traditions. Our education program incorporates our congregation’s commitment to progressive values, including our commitment to pursue peace and justice–healing of the world in which we live. We offer general Jewish Studies on Saturday mornings, and Hebrew (3rd-7th grade) on Tuesday afternoons.

Introduction to our Children’s education programs
We strive to provide meaningful, vibrant learning experiences for all of our students at Kol HaNeshamah. We believe Jewish Learning is a collaboration between our families and our community. We seek to partner with you in providing opportunities for your children to build Jewish identity and knowledge.
Our program includes KHN Kids for our youngest learners, as well as Hebrew studies on Tuesdays for our 3rd through 7th Graders, with our Out of the Box program meeting on two Saturdays a month. Since our program is limited in the number of hours we meet (just 36 hours a year for Out of the Box!), we strongly encourage your participation at KHN holiday and community events, as well as home Jewish conversations and practice. In this way, we can work together to provide opportunities for Jewish Identity development and connection to the Jewish people.
Our Out of the Box classes are held on Shabbat intentionally. Shabbat is one of the central tenets of Judaism. Coming together as a community to learn and worship on Shabbat is also one of the most wonderful pieces of the Kol HaNeshamah community. We encourage you to come with your children on Shabbat morning – stay for Torah Study at 9:30 and then join the students and the community for Shabbat worship at 10:45. Classes conclude at the end of Shabbat morning services.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com with questions or concerns.
We look forward to a year of learning with your children!
