Summer is fast approaching and that means the Kol HaNeshamah Members camping trip will happen soon.  We will convene once again at Dosewallips State Park. (http://www.parks.wa.gov/499/Dosewallips) on August 25-27, 2017.

Dosewallips is near the town of Brinnon on the Olympic Peninsula on the west side of the Hood Canal.  As campers who attended the last two years can attest, the area is blessed with many activities including – but not limited to: swimming and exploring the river, clamming in the tidal flats, hiking in the Olympic National Forest, and diving at the fabulous nearby waterfall.   We’ll celebrate Shabbat, eat banana boats, schmooze, play games, and relax.  Maybe we’ll even sing some songs.

The group camp is in a clearing surrounded by woods within a few steps of the river.  The river and surrounding areas are very pretty.  Toilets and showers are a short walk.

We have reserved three platform tents.  These are available on first-come first-serve basis to folks with a particular need for something a bit more comfortable.  Please e-mail Matt Siegel if you are interested.

As in years past, breakfast and campfire deserts will be provided by KHN.  Dinners will be potluck and lunches are on your own.

The camping Shabbat is a mellow and relaxing way to get to know your fellow congregants and communally enjoy the bounty of our Pacific Northwest outdoors.  If you attended in the past – sign up!  If it’s your first time – sign up!

E-mail Matt Siegel (matthew.s.siegel@gmail.com) with any questions and if you are interested in the platform tents.
