Prayers for B’Nai Mitzvah Students — Kedusha

Read by Michael Seidel

(when said by an individual praying alone)

You are holy, Your Name is holy, and those who are holy praise You every day. Blessed are You, Adonai, the Holy G-d.

(when said out loud, in a community)

Let us sanctify Your Name on earth, as it is sanctified in the heavens above. As it is written by Your prophet:
Holy, Holy, Holy, is Adonai Tzv’aot! G-d’s presence fills the whole earth.
You are majestic, Adonai, our G-d. How powerful is Your name through the earth. Blessed is the presence of G-d, shining forth from where G-d dwells.

G-d alone is our G-d and our Creator, our Ruler and our Helper, and in mercy, G-d is revealed in the sight of all the living: I am Adonai Your G-d! Adonai shall reign forever, your G-d, O Zion, from generation to generation, Halleluyah! To all generations we will declare Your greatness, and for all eternity proclaim Your holiness. your praise, O G-d, shall never depart from our lips. Blessed are You, Adonai, the Holy G-d.
