Praised are You, Adonai, Source of All, who forms light and creates darkness, who makes peace and creates everything. You bring light to the earth and all who live on it, and in Your goodness you renew every day, always, the works of your creation. How great are Your creations, Adonai! All of them with wisdom You created. The whole earth is filled with Your creatures. Praised are You, Adonai our G-d, for the excellent work of Your hands, and for the lights you created, may they glorify You. Shine a new light upon Zion, that we may all swiftly merit its radiance. Praised are You, Adonai, Creator of the heavenly lights.
