Reflections on KHN’s travels in Israel and the Emerging State of Palestine
This past summer, nineteen members of Kol HaNeshamah went to Israel and the West Bank (also known as The Emerging State of Palestine/The Occupied Territories). Over this year, we hope to share reflections and learning from our experiences there.
Friday evening, November 1st
Following an early potluck dinner, Eric Orlin will offer a D’var Torah on the topic, “Israeli vs Jew: Jewish identity within Israel and beyond.”
There will be time for questions and answers/discussion following the service.
Saturday morning, November 2nd
Eric will lead Torah study on Saturday morning (9:30-10:30 AM), on the topic, “National Narratives in the Bible.” He will lead a study on the ways the Bible thinks about Jews as a nation.

Please join us for a potluck lunch immediately following services. Rabbi Zari will share a few reflections on the trip, with opportunities for discussion and dialogue.
We will conclude by 1:30 PM.
