In cooperation with Public Health Seattle & King County, KHN will cancel in-person gatherings and events through March 15th.

Cancelling events does not mean that anyone at KHN is ill or even at particular risk of contracting Covid-19. KHN is cancelling events in cooperation with King County Public Health guidelines because it is the most straightforward way that we can participate in the worldwide effort to curtail the spread of the virus. By taking this step now, we know lives will be spared in the long run.

This afternoon, Public Health King County revised recommendations to community organizations in response to the coronavirus.  Community organizations in King County are asked to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people.  In response, KHN will cancel services, classes, and Purim events through March 15th.

We are planning virtual opportunities for our community to connect and celebrate.

Call each other and reach out to ask for or give help and support.

We are stronger connected.

Rabbi Zari is available for pastoral support as well.

This would be a great time to join Abraham & Sarah’s Kitchen, our KHN meal support network.
